The process:

RTHM is a disruptive brand, focusing on nurturing companies in the deep tech, crypto, and sustainable solutions space. I wanted the branding to feel very textured, rebellious, playful, and gently chaotic. I wanted to find the chaos within rhythms, and wanted the branding to represent balance and wildness. To achieve this clean but interesting aesthetic, I used a mixture of bright, sherbet colors and grainy textures, iridescent elements, collage, smooth shapes, and mixed typefaces.

 
 
 

Branding

The logo is based loosely on the Daoist symbol of ying and yang, balance of light and dark, and the constantly shifting tides of both. Colors are soft and velvet-y, like an iridescent sorbet of bright and muted textures, with solid feeling fonts.

Symbols and colors are repeated across the site to demonstrate versatility. Our integrated approach is what sets RTHM apart: we do not function as a traditional, contracted agency, but rather an entity to support the longevity and growth of its clients. Building lasting relationships is paramount to RTHM’s ethos, so our symbols represent the various building blocks that we tailor to meet specific needs, like a game of Tetris.

 
 

RTHM is playful, with a hint of cyberpunk, with a vapor wave color scheme and neon textures applied to a textured pastel background. I wanted the typography for Milkteeth, our NFT studio, to look like a neon sign or advertisement for candy or soda in a Blade Runner-esque future environment. There are nods in our assets about inter-dimensional travel and paradigm shifting, a cornerstone for how we like our clients to think when signing on to work with us.
